ABSTRACT
As with any professional craft, having the right tools is key to being effective at your job. For project managers, the project management system is that tool. But with dozens of project management solutions available, picking the right tool can be a difficult and stressful process. This chapter provides considerations for selecting a project management solution based on organizational needs, including considerations that are specific to life science companies. We will then describe some best-practice processes for implementing a project management solution within a biopharma organization and various process considerations for the project management community.
