ABSTRACT

Scientific study is essential for guaranteeing the safety, security, and efficiency of medication, clinical gadgets, analysis items, and therapy for human utilization. Clinical research demands the handling of a gigantic amount of data for human research. Creating a trustworthy clinical developmental data storage facility is an essential part of clinical research. Clinical data is also evidence of the potential economic value of medicine in the market. Thus, the effective use of clinical bioinformatics tools(CBTs) will make sure that quality data is received and analysed for decision-making in a time-bound manner, expediting the task of drug development. The sharing of data, reports, and analysis technique is essential for universal acceptance. The lack of a universal framework for the assessment of CBTs is a hurdle in the validation of their results. The potential misuse of data and privacy are serious implications of concern due to the sharing of resources, data input, etc. Multiple issues and challenges are encountered in the development of a credible CBT for data management and analysis in clinical research. Recent advancements in the field of information technology has paved the way for systems capable of handling privacy issues. Artificial intelligence and other iterative feedback algorithms will be of great importance in the analysis and validation of clinical research data. Keeping in mind the benefits of CBTs in clinical data management, analysis, and the validation of clinical research and rapid technological development, it is time that these issues and challenges were dealt with for proper utilisation of its potential.
