ABSTRACT
Mathematics is one of the fundamental disciplines which has an immense influence on the advancement of modern society. Pure mathematics and applied mathematics are indispensable to developing the skill of mathematical modeling and problemsolving. MATLAB codes along with some online videos related to the differential methods will be provided as a reference to attract the readers. To calculate the position of inventory for any product in the industry, the usefulness of the differential equation cannot be negligible. Differential equations are very much useful to integrate the scientific theory and the mathematical model related to geological phenomena like geophysics, sedimentary geology, petrology and geochemistry, structural geology, etc. In today’s competitive business world, it is important to find out suitable strategies for supply chain managers when working with substitutable and complementary products to make the supply chain more profitable. The chapter also presents an overview on the key concepts discussed in this book.
