ABSTRACT
This paper presents model testing compared to analysis for Aquatraz G4, a steel structure utilized for aquaculture. Aquatraz G4 is a steel cage, mostly impermeable at the sides leading to a mass dominated response that will be introduced to a grid mooring system together with classic drag dominated aquaculture cages. Compari-son of results for several tests are presented and compare well. The paper makes a proposal on how to analyse full scale grid systems with a combination of mass dominated cages and drag dominated cages.
