ABSTRACT
Although the advancement in artificial intelligence (AI) technology has many benefits for various business, service, and healthcare domains, researchers have utilized AI/Machine Learning (ML)/Deep Learning (DL) technologies to produce profoundly workable phony pictures and recordings well known as “DeepFakes (DFs).” The various artists and wisecrackers have employed these techniques to develop an assortment of sound videos portraying high-profile pioneers, such as Donald Trump, Barack Obama, and Vladimir Putin, making declarations they won’t ever do in real-life scenarios.
This pattern has propelled sentiments of dismay inside public safety and has caused worries around these disruptive technologies. The chapter aims to introduce the concept of DFs technologies and their origin.
