ABSTRACT

This chapter provides the readers with a snapshot of the trends followed by DeepFakes (DFs) by providing a bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer1.6.16.0 and Biblioshiny software. Bibliometrics is a rigorous method that explores and analyzes the trends followed by scientific publications. The study incorporates 202 documents, including conference papers and research articles, retrieved from the Scopus database. The authors conducted a co-authorship analysis among authors, organizations, and countries to understand the contribution made toward the evolution of DFs. Additionally, co-occurrence of keywords is conducted among the publication and bibliometric coupling of authors. The focus is also to find the prominent journals and conferences publishing the works on the application of DFs.
