ABSTRACT
DeepFakes (DFs) are a dynamic offering from the novel advancement in Artificial Intelligence (AI). In this chapter, we will traverse through techniques to create DFs. For neophytes, we’ll look into the existing applications and software for its generation and delve into the related papers for the approach taken up by the AI research community to fabricate the synthetic media. Thus, we have encapsulated the methodology and practicability of the creation part of DFs. The objective is to encourage research in overcoming the limitations faced during the model training, acquiring data, model training speed and requirement of high-power graphic card, and finding new methods and techniques for fabricating realistic-looking DFs, not just for images but also videos and audios.
