ABSTRACT

Blockchain technology has changed our way of storing transactional data in a distributed and decentralized manner. Removal of central authority and centralized storage increases transparency in transactional operations. Blockchain technology has been adopted in several fields like healthcare, supply-chain management, and the banking industry. Now it has begun to be adopted in government policies. Dubai has already started to deploy its government processes on blockchain technology for making government policies more transparent. The health care industry possesses sensitive and confidential data, whose security is very important. Blockchain technology in the health care system can be used for improving access to medical records. Lack of visibility in end-to-end tracking for all stakeholders is a big problem. In supply-chain management, end-to-end tracking can be implemented in a transparent and immutable way using blockchain technology. Blockchain technology can play a vital role in increasing trust, reliability, and accountability in government policies.
