ABSTRACT

Petrosolinum crispum (parsley) is a biennial herb belonging to the Apiaceae family. It is widely used as an herb, spice and vegetable globally. In this chapter, the authors have made efforts to analyze data and collect information regarding the stress tolerance of parsley plants. This study will make a valuable contribution to understanding the true mechanisms which are involved in biotic and abiotic stress tolerance and alleviation ranging from the biochemical to the molecular level. Different pathogens, diseases and genes involved in stress tolerance have been explored.
