ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a detailed overview and future of computer vision and artificial intelligence technologies that are promising tools for supporting the emergency department. This chapter also presents the basic background of Covid-19 and computer vision technologies that are used for diagnosis (X-ray radiography, computed tomography), face mask detection, germ screening, pandemic drones, thermal imaging for fever screening and control of this virus, and prevention techniques. Disease progression score, depth cameras, deep learning, support vaccination development, and ventilator management are also discussed. The face mask detection framework using convolution neural network and deep learning is also discussed.
