ABSTRACT

Over the past 10 years, there have been numerous developments in preclinical and clinical radionuclide therapies (RNTs). There have been multiple recent approvals of RNT agents, with many more in clinical trials. Thus, it has become increasingly important for medical physicists to learn about new RNTs and their development including phase I-III clinical trials. This chapter describes the process of developing and testing clinical RNT agents as well as specifics in recent clinical RNT advancements.
