ABSTRACT
Occupational Health and Safety (OS&H) aspects are crucial issues that are to be taken into account for the construction of a tunnel project. Therefore, they must be considered as an important constraint that influences the design that should take the related aspects into due account with a proper Risk Assessment and Management (RAM) that should be integrated within the design. In this chapter, the key issues of the most important aspects related to the OS&H are presented and discussed.
