ABSTRACT

Entrepreneurs continually upgrade themselves and adjust their goals and strategies to keep up with the changing times and unforeseen contingencies. It is thereby essential to understand how entrepreneurs reform their decisions and endure several challenges and uncertainties, and to gauge what effectively drives them during these times. This brings us to the concept of “entrepreneurial resilience,” which is believed to be among the foremost factors of entrepreneurial success. Entrepreneurial Resilience (ER) may be defined as the ability to thwart and overcome adversity quickly. It is seen as an indispensable personal trait in an entrepreneur and has emerged as a topic of great interest for researchers worldwide. This study looks to map ER from the research perspective to identify potential research areas. We conducted a detailed bibliometric analysis to investigate some of the salient research areas that have already been studied and explored in this domain. This analysis helped us deduce the trends in this area and identify key research themes that possibly require further exploration in keeping with today’s changing business scenarios.
