ABSTRACT

Pycnoporus cinnabarinus, commonly called polypore cinnabar, is a saprophytic white matter. The body of the fruit is orange. It can be found in different parts of the world. It is not a feast. These mushrooms are high in protein, vitamins, and minerals, and are commonly employed in both food and medicine. Saprophytes are commonly found on soil, urban fields, garden soil, trees, and roadside vegetation. White fungi belong to the Polyporales group and are connected to the Pycnoporus species. Pycnoporus is a genus of white fungi that is related to Agaricomycetes and Polyporaceos. Cinnabarine has also been shown to have antiviral and antibacterial activity against Pycnoporus fungi and harmful microorganisms as well as infectious viruses such as Klebsiella pneumoniae and Salmonella typhi. This chapter represents the overall nutritional and therapeutic effects of P. cinnabarinus.
