ABSTRACT
As artificial intelligence (AI) moves from science fiction to the forefront of game-changing technologies, the development boosts the compelling need for systematic and rigorous development and implementation of AI to visualize its true impact on the next generation of industrial systems, namely Industry 4.0. The following study aims to define the term ‘Industrial AI’ and also describes the role of AI in Industry 4.0 applications. The cram also aims to describe the various industrial revolutions, their transition and the final transition to Industry 4.0. This cram also analyzes the impact of AI in different industries. Furthermore, the advantages, disadvantages and the future prospects are also addressed.
