ABSTRACT
Healthcare systems and policies play a critical role in deciding how health services are provided, used, and affect health outcomes. With the increase of urbanization in India, the lifestyle of people has changed. Therefore, machine learning techniques change the face of the healthcare system. Application of machine learning methods on electronic health records could provide useful knowledge on health risk prediction. This chapter briefly explains the Indian public healthcare system and tracks the previous health programs and plans with a machine learning technique that focuses on poor health resources in India.
