ABSTRACT

In today's era of digital transformation, the management of online data is becoming more critical. A seismic transition is happening in the healthcare sector from conventional, paper-based record-keeping to storing health records on electronic databases. With the growing usage of IoT and cloud-based technology in the healthcare domain, networking and computing technologies are now integrated into these e-healthcare services. These smart-linked devices can endanger system security and individual privacy by creating more collaborative channels. In this chapter, a wealth of ideas is presented to researchers related to IoT and cloud-based smart healthcare systems about all the potential angles relating to the security and privacy of normal users. This study pays special attention to the benefits, advantages, and difficulties inherent in the deployment of these systems in an interconnected environment.
