ABSTRACT

The Internet of Things (IoT) platform is a critical component in the global growth of smart cities in the modern era. And a smart city would be impossible to envision without the Internet of Things (IoT). Again, COVID-19 is a current threat that has altered our way of life in a variety of ways, such as mask use, regular hand sanitization, and so forth. Various freshly developed vaccinations have been deployed through the planned immunization procedure over the previous few months, ensuring that this lethal virus is eradicated internationally. However, children are currently the most susceptible segment of our society in terms of COVID-19, as their vaccination is currently being tested. The study makes a substantial contribution by providing an up-to-date review of the smart city and its implications for COVID-19. Additionally, the author developed and recommended a child-centric implementation that incorporates an array of sensors to give social distancing, as well as a led-based alert to indicate instantly which corner distancing is being violated, and it will be put on the heads of the children. Another application is on a wristwatch, with sensors determining the children’s body temperature and heart rate. A mobile application is used to see all of the data.
