ABSTRACT
Under the Internet of Things, Health Sector is aiming to keep people protected and connected with experts in all time. A smart medicine box to remind, monitor, and analysis the usage of medicines by the patient according to doctor’s prescription. In today’s world, there are more chances for a person to forget about the medicines that they need to take, but due to a busy lifestyle people forgot to take it. This smart IoT-based healthcare system gives regular reminder to patients for medicines according to the prescription schedule set by the doctor. The system comes with security options to stop unauthorized usage or irregularity with the medications. All the data will be synchronized with the cloud system such that remote analysis and monitoring of the patient both can be done automatically. With the help of sensors associated with the box, That’s easier to maintain the data of patients. This system helps in enabling a patient to take medication as per the time set by the doctor. Moreover, an emergency switch is provided with the functionality to call medical emergency services and to inform the guardian about the emergency situation of the patient.
