ABSTRACT
Traffic is one of the major issues in the most populated and big cities in our country [2]. The demand for Intelligent Traffic Control Systems is increasing along with time in this modern era. Problems related to transportation and traffic systems such as traffic congestion, road accidents, air pollution, sound pollution, etc. are observed in most large cities because means of transportation are increasing with the increase in population in a fast way [3]. The proper use of the intelligent traffic control system can solve issues related to traffic and transportation in urban cities. This paper mainly discusses about an Intelligent Traffic Control System which works on python programming software, therefore, establishing a python coding for decreasing the manual labor to manage and direct the traffic routes, vehicle types, length, etc. The system we proposed uses a python algorithm that can easily work in real-time and helps in determining traffic light whilst scheduling the time phase that results in increasing traffic regularity and efficiency by predicting a perfect route, controlling traffic jams, reducing average waiting time, improving traffic flow, etc.
