ABSTRACT
Today’s fast-moving world has forced time-deprived humans to depend on machines not just for their routine tasks, but also for specialized decision-making. Technology has offered so many gadgets to cater to the need of human comfort-seeking that we are moving fast towards the development of smart environments. The development of Smart Commercial buildings is a big step in this direction to facilitate human comfort. Apart from comfort-seeking, these Smart buildings have help in Energy conservation and efficient utilization of resources. Automation of HVAC devices in these smart buildings based on human occupancy has contributed to reduce the Energy consumption, leading to green environment. Automation is primarily assisted by the use of machine learning algorithms that tend to offer predictions based on historical data and previous learning.
