ABSTRACT
‘The infrastructure-less networks are those category of networks which does not have any centralized manager. Such central controllers or managers are also identified as access points. Ad hoc networks are of this type that is decentralized networks. Checking into the ad hoc network, every node is considered to send information to its next node so that all nodes participate in process of routing. The data is transferred in dynamic manner amid the nodes according to the network connectedness. MANET is a novel set-up which provides wireless interaction amid mobile nodes. This kind of network is utilized in different urgent conditions. These kinds of networks do not have any permanent base station or framework. Inside the mobile ad hoc networks, a routing protocol is used. According to the need of system, a path is created from source to target. In this protocol, several control messages such as path request, paths respond and path fault remain present. The adjoining node submit response to the initiating (source) node with the route respond message during the availability of path from source to target. On the basis of the hop counts inside the path, most appropriate path is chosen in the network.
