ABSTRACT

Another critical technique of production control is dispatching. The literal meaning of dispatching is to send something to its destination or to start it on its journey. When used in production control, it refers to the assignment of tasks to certain machines or work locations, which includes the issuing of orders and production forms in the order of their priority as decided by scheduling. In actuality, dispatching translates into reality or practical labor that has been scheduled through scheduling. In other words, dispatching is the practice of starting productive operations by issuing orders and instructions in accordance with the previously planned and sequence reflected in route sheets and scheduled charts.
