ABSTRACT
Presently we are in the age of technology, this whole era belongs to us. The word “Internet of Things” is going to be the most familiar in the technical world in the future. It is often implemented in several aspects of our daily lives to achieve accurate and desirable results. The term Face Recognition and detection is like an ocean of research and innovation with the applications of image analysis and algorithm-based understanding which may be called computer vision. We have Face Recognition door unlocking and monitoring system as our project. This is a type of digital image processing. The project is classified into two major sub-programs namely data collection and door unlocking by recognizing the face. It collects pictures by capturing techniques. The camera takes the real-time images of face and compares captured image with the images stored in the database. The image is then matched with the database, the door will open due to the Arduino system used and will register an entry. The recognition algorithms will be performed by the OpenCV library.
