ABSTRACT

The demand for aesthetics restorations in dentistry has been growing rapidly. The social impact of having a natural and aesthetically pleasing appearance is affecting the choices of not only adults but children as well. Amongst children, the perception of appearance is diverse, being influenced by both the child and his parents, therefore often posing a challenge to the operator. Some children perceive preformed metal crowns as an appealing tooth, while often parents view it as overly unnatural or artificial.
