      ABSTRACT

The internet of things (IoT) is defined as the web of physical things that use sensors in order to seize data and allows deep rooted connectivity for easy exchange of valuable information. It builds an environment consisting of several modules interlinked to each other forming a whole new system. The Cloud, along with IoT aids in building new opportunities and enabling eminent data sharing. However, very little focus has been heeded to the security of the users and collaborators forming part of the structure. IoT cloud integration may involve breach of privacy, security attacks and lack of confidentiality of user’s information. These attacks may not just be limited to users but also extend to several IoT Components and enhance vulnerabilities in the system. Communication attacks may destroy critical systems, challenge capabilities and hinder hardware devices. This chapter wraps the concepts of IoT Cloud unification with 5G Networks and raises security as a major concern.
