ABSTRACT

Flexible electronics has evolved as the most enthralled subject in the domain of modern electronic devices owing to its user-friendly and versatile ease of fabrication properties. Various studies on the fabrication of active devices over flexible platforms have shown numerous promising applications. Paper, with its incredible properties of lightweight, flexibility, low cost, mass productivity, disposability, porosity, and ease of processing, is showing 96great potential as a future flexible substrate. Organic materials are getting attention for the evolution of green electronics that will be environment-friendly and biodegradable. Protein as an organic material has been widely used in fabrication of biosensors, organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), memristors, etc. The coupling of protein and electronics popularly known as proteotronics will emerge as the breakthrough technology in future electronic industry.
