ABSTRACT
This chapter covers the nature and possibility of applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) in cybersecurity. We show how AI improves automated systems significantly, making them promising in cybersecurity. On some levels, the findings indicate that the use of AI is imperative. This must be improved over time to ensure an organization survives today's world of sophisticated cyber threats. We also discuss the process of acquiring and deploying AI in cyberspace and demonstrate ways of overcoming the inherent challenges in the use of AI to improve cybersecurity.
