ABSTRACT
The shrubs and trees belonging to genus Ziziphus are multipurpose plant species occurring naturally in the area around the world which readily meets the demand of human being as food, fiber, medicine, fuel, fertilizer, and shelter (Arndt et al., 2001; Jawanda and Bal, 1978).
