ABSTRACT
The Internet of Things (IoT) is bringing services to market and causing industries to transform. Efficient energy management is fundamental when it comes to building management systems. By developing the Internet of Lights (IoL), the lighting sector is likewise embracing transformation, which is an advanced lighting system with IoT at its core. The chapter will present intelligent lighting control standards discussed in different contexts. This chapter discusses the key advantages of IoL as well as the obstacles in adapting it in real time. Further, the chapter will present the plethora of capabilities of IoL.
