ABSTRACT
In the coming years, IoT-based technology is anticipated to provide improved quality services, changing people's lifestyle entirely. The IoT is revolutionizing gene therapies, home and city automation, smart apartment blocks and smart home appliances, to name just a few key areas. The government has undertaken a number of major projects related to smart cities. Unfortunately, the project is being slowed down by the rise in population and fraffic congestion. Smart parking systems are key to solving this problem. Smart cities can solve many problems associated with vehicle traffic, find appropriate places for vehicles to park, and maintain a healthy environment by controlling noise and air pollution. The proposed parking system provides real-time slot information and also helps in booking the slot in advance, thus saving the drivers time and also helping to decrease traffic congestion.
