ABSTRACT

The world wide web has constantly becoming enormous, and its expansion is as well vibrant. All internet community relies on dynamic search engines to extract and share information from distinct resources. Everything extracted by search engines’ is not always appropriate since it is pulled from heterogeneous data sources. Also, a normal user finds it difficult to verify that the obtained results are appropriate to his necessity. Semantic technology therefore plays an important role in interpreting the relevance of search results. In the proposed work, a novel approach to retrieving appropriate devices uses the semantic ontology concept wih indigenous language (NLP) processing techniques. In this proposed system, NLP is used to annotate the vendor specification of the devices. The annotated documents serve as the semantically enabled documents and help in the retrieval of the appropriate devices for the user request in identifying the resources of their interest. This paper contributes the device discovery mechanism based on the semantic search.
