ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on what is unique for inspections of combination products. The chapter is divided into two parts: (i) a discussion of best practices for combination products inspection readiness, including vocabulary, inspection logistics and supplier collaboration; and (ii) given the fact that the United States is currently the only jurisdiction with a combination product-specific compliance program, a review of the US FDA Combination Products Compliance Program.
