ABSTRACT
With very few exceptions, biological products need to circumvent the complete digestive tract in order to avoid degradation. As such, combination products are an indispensable aspect of successful delivery, safety, and efficacy of biological products. This chapter reviews biological product considerations in combination product design. The chapter also includes discussion of considerations for biosimilar products.
