ABSTRACT
The vortex tube is a particular refrigerator and industrial tools which utilized compressed air as a working substance. Vortex tubes can isolate a pressurized gas stream from a colder stream to a hotter stream. Even so, the use has been restricted by the poor quality of the equipment. The main concern of any industry is to keep up environmental safety. This chapter focuses on the investigation and efficiency of vortex tube, which works on the principle of the hot gas stream through one end and a cold gas flow from the further end without any external source of energy. The nozzle design is the prime concern of the research as it will give a greater cooling effect as compared to the inlet and outlet orifice of the vortex tube. 150The geometrical parameters have been analyzed to get the better and more efficient design of the improved vortex tube.
