ABSTRACT
Lipids are always known for their diverse physiological roles and have been crucial for normal cell physiology. Cancer cells have altered lipid metabolism and are well associated with supporting the uncontrolled proliferation of cells. This chapter detailed the association of lipids in cancer and further study in this arena, and open new therapeutic gateways. Understanding lipids in cancer advancements have an essential role to play. This chapter also discussed the methodology, appropriate applica- tions, and crucial challenges for using a solid lipid nanoparticulate system in cancer treatment.
