ABSTRACT
The most important factors that complicate cancer treatment are that it is a heterogeneous disease, its course is different in each patient, and it shows different characteristics at each stage of the disease. Radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgery are the main methods used in cancer treatment. In cancer treatment, it is essential for the success of the treatment that chemotherapy drugs target tumors as much as possible and have a limited effect on healthy tissues. Radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgery are the main methods used in cancer treatment. Chitin, is the second-most abundant polysaccharide on the planet found in the cytoderm of fungus and green algae, as well as the shells of crustaceans like crabs and shrimp. Alginate is a linear polysaccharide extracted from brown algae. It consist of 1–4-linked α-L-glucuronic acid and β-d-mannuronic acid.
