ABSTRACT

Taking into consideration the development of high and new technology, new industries, new types of business and models as the principle line and innovation as the main driving force, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area aims at the frontiers of world technology and industrial development and builds itself into a global highland of technological innovation by enhancement of new platform construction, full utilization of its new advantages of technological R&D, and industrial innovation and stimulation of the vitality of various innovation entities. Capacities for scientific and technological innovation of the Greater Bay Area differ greatly because of various internal factors, and therefore an evaluation index system is established and entropy method is used to evaluate its capacities. In addition, the contradictions faced by the Greater Bay Area in scientific and technological collaborative innovation are analyzed and ways to promote high-quality development of technological collaborative innovation are proposed.
