ABSTRACT

The study constructs Structural Equation Modelling to examine how resource bricolage affect technological innovation performance of SMEs through promoting knowledge creation under the direct and moderating effect of innovative elements concentration. The study samples 122 leaders from 122 high-tech firms engaged in AI in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as empirical study samples. Results show that resource bricolage has direct positive impact on knowledge creation. Moreover, knowledge creation has direct impact on technological innovation performance of SMEs, and mediates the relationship between resource bricolage and technological innovation performance of SMEs. In addition, innovative elements concentration has direct positive impact on resource bricolage, and moderates the relationship between resource bricolage and knowledge creation of SMEs significantly.
