ABSTRACT

In view of the current one-way matching mode of “car looking for goods” or “goods looking for car”, which leads to low efficiency of freight transportation and high empty rate, this paper starts from the logistics information platform and considers the carrier and shipper in the information platform as a whole to meet the interests and needs of both the shipper and the carrier to the greatest extent. Considering the time window constraint, the load constraint, and the constraints of collecting goods first and delivering later, we establish the vehicle-cargo matching and route-planning model with the objective of minimizing transportation cost. Then the model is solved by using uniparental genetic algorithm to calculate the best vehicle selection and the corresponding distribution path planning to obtain the overall optimal solution. Finally, the validity and correctness of the model and method are verified by combining with the arithmetic examples.
