ABSTRACT

The main methods of railway turnout snow melting in China include artificial snow removal, wind snow removal and electric heating snow melting. Artificial snow removal costs human resources, and will cause safety hazards to railway personnel. Electric heating snow melting system mainly has the disadvantages of high energy consumption, low energy utilization rate and high failure rate in the use process. To cope with the existing technical problems of high-speed railway turnout snowmelt, a thermal cycle high-speed railway switch snowmelt system was proposed. Experiments under different influence conditions were carried out through finite element modeling. The snowmelt performance of hot fluid turnout snowmelt system was analyzed through the temperature field distribution of turnout body and the variation trend of body surface temperature.
