ABSTRACT

With the rapid expansion of civil aviation airports, taxiway bridges, as important tools to solve the intersection problems of traffic and rivers inside and outside the airport, have great increase. However, there is still no clear evaluation method and specification for airport taxiway bridge evaluating the bearing capacity of this kind of bridge. During the load test of the taxiway bridge in operation, it mainly faces the following two problems: the first one is to stop the aircraft on the taxiway bridge in service, another is the loading efficiency is far from 0.95 to 1.05 when the aircraft loading conducts the taxiway bridge. Given the above problems, combined with the digital filtering method and regression extrapolation method commonly used in highway bridges, a quasi-static regression extrapolation test method for load test of taxiway bridge is proposed in this paper. In the end, the G taxiway bridge of Guangdong Baiyun Airport as a real application is presented to validate the method. The results show that the error between the verification coefficient calculated by the quasi-static regression extrapolation method and the verification coefficient given in the literature is only 3%, indicating that the method is feasible.
