ABSTRACT

Crack defect serves as one of the main defects of the bridge deck. Based on the Yangzhuang Bridge Project of Luolu Expressway, this paper analyzes the causes of cracks and evaluates their technical conditions. The severity and degree of damage of Yangzhuang Bridge is determined to understand the current situation and put forward suggestions for maintenance and reinforcement. At the same time, an automatic monitoring scheme based on flexible conductive coating crack monitoring technology is established for the crack location found in the left box as well as other key parts, which provides a prerequisite for prevention and treatment of crack defects.
