ABSTRACT

Given the long-term snow on low-grade highways in winter, this paper divides the types of snow and ice road surface, uses the acceleration instrument method and braking distance method, from acceleration, an average reduction of standard deviation S, tire deceleration coefficient CV, etc., tests and calculates the coefficient of friction of snow and ice road surface, using the accelerometer method, the coefficient of friction of different ice and snow road state belongs to the range value, the same road state with the increase of speed friction coefficient in the range of decreasing trend and meet the index function relationship. According to the braking distance method, the coefficient of friction of different snow and ice road conditions belongs to the fixed value, and finally, according to the comparative analysis of the two methods, the fixed value of the braking distance method meets the range value of the accelerometer method, and the coefficient of friction obtained by the braking distance method is selected as the recommended value.
