ABSTRACT

To explore the subjective differences of influencing factors of rail transit passenger trip-chain integration with different socioeconomic attributes based on the passenger trip-chain data of Wuhan urban rail transit, the concept of efficiency in economics is introduced, and four relative efficiency indexes with reference standards such as time, cost, transfer and payment are established to clarify the gap between the degree of integration and the ideal state. Combined with the satisfaction of passenger trip-chain integration, the perception of main factors of passenger travel is analysed using multinomial logit model and marginal effect, and the relationship between passengers of different ages and influencing factors of trip-chain integration is explored. The results show that in the overall passengers’ trip-chain integration, the impact of payment relative efficiency is the largest, the impact of time relative efficiency is close to cost relative efficiency, and the impact of transfer relative efficiency is the smallest. There is a stagnation point in the relative efficiency of payment, and the interval of the stagnation point is (0.2, 0.4). The perceived satisfaction of passengers who improve their satisfaction on the different sides of stagnation point is different. Passengers of different ages value different influencing factors, who over the age of 60 are greatly affected by the relative efficiency of payment, and who aged 40-60 pay more attention to the time relative efficiency, and the cost relative efficiency has more impact on passengers under the age of 40.
