ABSTRACT

As a new foundation treatment technology, multi-directional mixing cored pile has the advantages of reasonable construction period, moderate cost, and reliable quality when dealing with deep soft soil foundation. This paper systematically summarized the technical principle and scope of application of this technology and introduced the whole process of design calculation, construction, and quality inspection of this technology combined with the Baiteng interchange hgtj2 and Hongqi interchange of hgtj3 of Zhuhai Hegang Expressway. The results show that the quality of multi-direction cored mixing pile is guaranteed, the total cost of multi-direction cored mixing pile technology is 23.6% lower than that of prestressed pipe pile technology, the construction period is only 2 months more than that of prestressed pipe pile technology. Although the cost of the preloading technique is 13% lower than that of the multi-direction cored mixing pile, but the construction period is three times of the multi-direction core mixing pile technology. Overall, the technology of multi-direction cored mixing pile has obvious advantages in economic and social benefits and can be widely applied in similar projects in the future.
