ABSTRACT
Buildings, one of the physical forms boasting convenience and comfort for people's lives, are of external functional use. Giving full play to the continued application value of existing buildings is important to carry out the concept of green development. This paper analyzes the application of the functional renewal, design planning according to local circumstances and structural transformation technology in the renovation process of existing buildings, and takes the renovation of “Haoxi Book Garden” as a design case to an offer experience for future renovation of existing buildings.
