ABSTRACT
Based on the application of the BIM related software in flood control safety design, this paper discusses the flood control safety design in combination with the planning and design of a riverside community. This paper puts forward the application of flood risk analysis based on BIM, including terrain analysis, mountain flood risk analysis and flooding analysis. According to the analysis results, the flood control safety design strategy of riverside community is proposed visioning the aspects of planning and layout, road and evacuation, site drainage, flood control buffer space and so on.
