ABSTRACT

Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology enables engineering and technical personnel to correctly understand and efficiently respond to various Building Information through the integration of data and information models of buildings, and provides a basis for collaborative work for design teams and construction subjects including construction and operation units. It plays an important role in improving production efficiency, saving costs, and shortening the time limit. This paper takes the Hengyang High-tech future City project as the backing project, establishes a BIM model based on Glodon software, and adds time and capital factors to form the BIM5D model. Plan-Do-Check-Action Cycle (PDCA) schedule control based on the BIM5D model is studied. The research results show that the BIM model is conducive to the visualization and overall management of schedule control, and improving the efficiency of management. This study can be used as a reference for similar projects.
