ABSTRACT
Via analyzing the current management model and characteristics of renovation projects in colleges and universities, for the multi-project management of renovation projects, this paper introduces the time constraint theory of immediate pre-construction constraint, immediate post-construction constraint, intermediate constraint, and intermittent constraint of renovation projects in colleges and universities. With a renovation project in a Beijing's university as a case, an in-depth analysis is conducted from different aspects such as project function, scope, initiation, design, schedule, and process. The optimization model of the management for renovation projects in colleges and universities based on time constraint theory is innovatively proposed, which provides a basis for the project management of renovation projects in colleges and universities and has a high reference value.
